Start Your Own Blog: An Online Blogging Class

How To Start A Blog

Start Your Own Blog An Online Blogging Class

The instructor, Michelle D’costa, will help you see the benefits of sharing your work with others in this class. She has been journaling and blogging for several years. While journaling has helped her express herself better, blogging has given her the confidence to share her work with the world. She has established her voice in interviewing writers through her blog and she will guide you in finding your own voice.

Through interactive exercises, she will help you express your latent thoughts and ideas. When we write a journal entry or a blog entry, we are dedicating a certain time and space to ourselves. We often don’t find the time to sit down and dedicate time to ourselves. In this class, she will teach you how to create that space for yourself that is only yours, be it in your journal or on your blog.

You could want to start a blog for any reason. Want to share your thoughts and ideas with the world? Want to build your writing portfolio and share it with a community of bloggers? Want to gain confidence by sharing work on your blog first and then pitch your work to magazines? There are many kinds of blogs and various ways you could express your identity, join this class to discover more about yourself and the world of blogging and journaling.

In this class, you will get writing done. You will get peer and instructor feedback and also create a blog of your own. Lots of learning and fun in store.

    • “The journaling and blogging class was a lot of fun. The best part was the number of things that we covered in two hours. Also, Michelle makes herself a participant, gets participants to converse with each other-- all of which were very enjoyable. Learnt about so many blogging sites.”
      Rukmini Sen
    • “Michelle you were perhaps one of the best instructors I have had! So much patience and eagerness to get into our works and our minds and working with us. So encouraging! It was almost therapeutic! Thank you so much.”
      Madhura Bhagat, MPT (MAHE)
    • I enjoyed the session! Definitely got some good ideas for how to improve and grow my blog from here. Also appreciated that I need not pressure myself to post every week or two weeks and that I should focus on quality.
